Carbon Cycles is an Indian Climate tech company that produces and sells enriched biochar as a permanent soil enhancement technology. Biochar is porous carbon produced from the thermal decomposition of biomass. Biochar has a high surface area and when applied to soil, retains moisture and nutrients as well as creates a habitat for microorganisms.
It increases crop yield and biomass productivity whilst significantly reducing input irrigation and fertiliser costs. Our enriched CC Biochar is a one time application to permanently enhance soil quality and sequester carbon. Moreover, 1 Ton of Bio-Char put in the ground is roughly equivalent to 2.5 Tons of CO2 permanently removed from the Atmosphere.

Carbon Cycles is a comprehensive project for strengthening the ability to measure, manage and create a market for Carbon Capture, Soil Productivity and Biological Waste Management using Biochar Technology.
We, as carbon based life forms have, through the disruption of global circulations of carbon have caused environmental catastrophe and mass extinction. A stable carbon base is the key to having stable conditions for complex societies and the flourishing of human and non-human entities.
Nutrients are scarce. They flow, erode, accrete, accumulate, disperse and coagulate. They are intercepted and captured by various overlaying biological, geological and human processes that transport and cycle them. The project accelerates certain components of the nested circulations and cycles of organic hydrocarbons on the surface of Gujarat.
