Metabolic Office is a contemporary ecological design practice that pioneers innovative approaches to architectural and landscape design through holistic systems thinking. By deeply integrating regenerative principles, we transform design from a traditional, mechanistic approach to a dynamic, living systems methodology.

Each project for us is approached as a unique opportunity to co-evolve human interventions with natural systems, such that design becomes a catalyst for positive environmental transformation. By treating design as a “seeding process” rather than a fixed outcome, we enable environments that can adapt, grow, and flourish organically over time.

Our practice is based in Ahmedabad and we focus on creating design solutions that are highly contextual and responsive to local ecological conditions.
