This landscape design for a private residence in Telav reimagines the home garden as a lush, living food forest—one that is both highly functional and quietly contemplative. Envisioned as a space to harvest, inhabit, and pause within, the landscape unfolds as an extension of the the building. A gravel pathway encircles the house like a ribbon, subtly guiding movement while opening up into intimate sit-outs, stone-paved courts, and shaded courtyards. These pockets of repose are paired with minimal stone furniture—dining set and benches that invite gathering or quiet reflection. The garden is richly planted with over 25 species of native, edible, fruiting trees and shrubs, interspersed with jungle species that support a thriving, self-sustaining micro-ecosystem.
