Near Rethal Village, Gujarat

The Gravel Court at Rethal Greens is a large open area surrounded by mature trees and is an insert to the existing resort within the scheme. Designed as a gravel court instead of a traditional lawn, it is punctuated with features like an amphitheater, a pavilion, a chikoo orchard, and bamboo groves, providing spaces for small events and gatherings. The gravel allows water to percolate through and acts as a vast rainwater sink, enabling the recharge of millions of liters of water into the ground each monsoon.

At the center of the gravel court stands a lightweight pavilion structure, designed with a simple and functional approach. The grey sandstone flooring transitions seamlessly into the surrounding gravel, grounding the structure within the landscape. Framed by an open, airy design, the pavilion offers shaded space while perfectly capturing views of the chikoo orchard and date palm grove.
