The expansive 7.2-acre Common Plot at Rethal Greens is designed as a natural wetland and grassland, reflecting the ecological character of the region. Integral to the scheme’s larger water management strategy, this seasonal waterbody collects runoff from the entire site, enabling maximum water percolation and groundwater recharge.
The landform gently slopes from the outer paths toward a central basin, creating a dynamic topography framed by raised mounds along the periphery. Meandering pathways wind through tall grasses and dense native shrubs, offering moments of immersion and discovery. Mixed fruit orchards are interspersed throughout, while native, wild, and forgotten plant species thrive, rooting the space in the resilient character of its local environment.
